Spring alpine hiking
The cabin Bertol is on the High road linking Chamonix to Zermatt between the cabin Schönbiel of Schönbielhütte to the Bertol hut, 6-7 hours - and the Vignettes hut - from the Bertol hut to hut Vignettes 6-7 hours by the Col de l'Eveque. This is by the Col de Bertol that the legendary Alpine skier of the mythic Patrouille des Glaciers go through in order to reach, every two years - next session in 2010 - Zermatt to Verbier via Arolla.
From Bertol hut, you can arrive or leave by the refuge Aosta Via Col and Col Valpelline Division, and Prarayer Bionaz above Aosta, Italy.
From Bertol hut, you can arrive or leave by the refuge of the Col Collon (Nacamuli) via the Haut Glacier d'Arolla and the Col Collon.
